Slot Loevenstein is cut above other guest houses; for starters, the attention to detail is astounding and the manner in which the European style has been blended with a truly African feel is inspired. Then there is the food: mouth-watering to say the least. Breakfast outside next to the pool should be the only way to start the day and the wines complemented dinner perfectly. I’m vegetarian and can honestly say that I’ve never found any restaurant or hotel as accommodating and concerned to meet my needs. The wireless internet connectivity and proximity to the best that Bloemfontein has to offer means that I’ll come back to Slot Loevenstein again and again.
