The Clarens farmers grow some of the country’s finest export fresh produce - and the herb garden on the premises allows the chef to prepare magnificent, robust country fare which has become legendary in the area.
In the winter months, venison, warthog, guineafowl, wild duck and pheasent make an exciting addition to the menu.
AccommodationThe Maluti Mountain Lodge offers accommodation in 8 Standard Rooms, 3 Thatched Rondawels and 10 Luxury Suites for families - all en suite.
The rooms have DSTV, tea and coffee making facilities, as well as heaters and electric blankets for the cold winter months. Balconies on each of the rooms provide the opportunity to relax at sundown in the summer months.
Most of the rooms have breathtaking views of the mountains and the Lodge gardens are the perfect place for the children to safely explore and play. The swimming pool (the only one in Clarens) and lapa offer a wonderful setting for sociable braais. ConferencesThe Maluti Mountain Lodge offers one of the finest conference venues.
The facilities can cater for up to 35 delegates and up to 60 overnight delegates sharing.
All the equipment necessary to run a professional and efficient conference is readily available, as well as outstanding breakaway facilities.
